Medical Assistant
Well respected Community Health Center seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to provide direct patient care and customer service. Duties include but are not limited to assisting providers during preparation and provision of patient visit, interviewing patient’s and obtaining reason for visit, room preparation, specimen collection and processing, medication administration, documentation in electronic health record and patient discharge. Facilitates communication between internal and external customers.
Compensation: $18.71 Per Hour plus benefits

Education:

High
School Diploma or GED required.
·
Medical
Assistant Diploma or completed a United States Armed Forces medical services
training program required.
·
Minimum
of 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant.
·
Any
combination of education and work experience that meets the necessary skills
required will be considered.
·
Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
·
Valid
Fingerprint clearance card required.
·
Certified
Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire.
·
Must
have reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the
organization during the workday.
·
Valid
driver's license and proof of insurance may be required if driving during work
hours and/or if requesting mileage reimbursement.
