APP in Endocrinology Clinic
Location: Edmond, Oklahoma
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Associate to join our private endocrinology clinic. As a Physician Associate, you will work closely with an endocrinologist to provide high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat various endocrine disorders, and educate patients about their conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage endocrine conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and adrenal disorders
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment plans, and self-management strategies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including endocrinologists, nurses, and dietitians
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p.
- NO nights/weekends/holidays or call!
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Associate program
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- State licensure in Texas
- Previous experience in endocrinology is preferred but not required (New Grads Accepted)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
