Summary:
The Environmental Service Tech is responsible for the general cleaning and daily housekeeping chores at assigned locations; maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and sanitation expected throughout all areas of the facility.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for keeping all areas cleaned and up to standard, including but not limited to bedrooms, offices, hallways, parlors, pool house, conference areas, Cottage, work carts, etc.
2. Responsible for keeping all refrigerators clean on the inside and outside.
3. Responsible for inventory control of the guestroom refrigerators, paper towels, tissue paper, work cart supplies, etc.
4. Follow daily housekeeping schedule and perform appropriate tasks as outlined; including checking work schedule for any changes.
5. Responsible for the thorough cleaning of the vacation houses twice a year.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Six months housekeeping experience in hospital or hotel preferred.
• Ability to handle interruptions
• Ability to operate vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, mops and wringers, shampoo machines and extractors.
• Be familiar with housekeeping chemicals.
