OBGYN Hospitalist - $30,000 Sign On - 7 Shifts/Month
Position: OB/GYN Hospitalist
Location: Phoenix, AZ area (Tertiary Care Maternity Hospital)
Schedule: Full-Time
Shifts: Primarily 24-hour shifts (7 per month), with occasional 12-hour shifts to suit flexibility
Compensation: $260,000 - $300,000 / year plus a lucrative percentage of collections
Relocation: $10,000

Primary Responsibilities

Be a Leader in High-Risk Care: Partner with MFM physicians to manage high-risk OB transports and oversee a busy inpatient antepartum service, ensuring patients receive seamless, expert care.

Offer Emergency Expertise: Deliver exceptional obstetric and gynecologic care for unassigned patients, manage pregnant trauma cases alongside trauma and ED teams, and support private OB/GYN physicians during urgent deliveries and emergencies.

A Trusted Consultant: Provide consultative care to a broad spectrum of hospital departments, including ED physicians, medical hospitalists, and other specialists.

Champion Safety and Quality: Actively participate in hospital-wide safety and quality initiatives, bringing your expertise and fresh ideas to improve patient outcomes continually.

Provide Patient-Centered Care: Conduct thorough assessments, create responsive treatment plans, and communicate effectively with patients and their families.

What We’re Looking For

Licensure: AZ State MD/DO License (or able to obtain)

Training: Residency Completed in the USA (excluding Puerto Rico)

Experience: Previous experience as an OB/GYN Hospitalist working with high-risk obstetric patients is highly desired.
