**Locums Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery - Coos Bay, OR** **Coverage Need** - **Start Date**: ASAP - Ongoing - **Coverage Type**: Permanent Full-Time Position - **Practice Settings**: Surgical Services (Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT) - **Admissions Required**: Yes **Position Details** - **Shift Options**: Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts - **Procedures**: Assisting in surgery, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice, room setup and turnover, other duties as assigned - **Location**: Bay Area Hospital, 127-bed Level III Trauma - **Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stretch, lift up to 75 lbs, and assist patients with mobility **Submissions Requirements** - **Board Certification**: Required - **State License**: Oregon (or willing to obtain) - **Experience**: 2+ years of work experience as PA in Orthopedics - **Ties to Oregon**: Required (i.e., family in the area or has lived in OR) - **Clean History**: Required - **Experience**: 2+ years of Orthopedics PA work experience - **ACLS/BLS**
