The Heart Center at Medical City Children’s Hospital in Dallas, Texas is recruiting a pediatric interventional cardiologist to join the growing Medical City Children’s Cardiology team.

- 225 bed pediatric hospital with the largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in North Texas
- 108-bed Level IV NICU, regionalized care model with 9 Medical City Healthcare affiliated NICUs
- Medical City Children’s Congenital Heart Center consists of 2 dedicated cardiovascular operating rooms, 2 cardiac catheterization labs, 1 hybrid suite, a 25-bed dedicated CICU/Stepdown Unit with 24/7 attending/NP coverage, ICAEL-certified Echo Lab, cMRI and collaborative 3D printing programs. Our new Heart Center is currently under construction and will be completed in early 2026. The Heart Center will include 24 dedicated cardiac ICU beds, 12 bed cardiac step-down unit, 2 state of the art cardiac catheterization laboratories, new electrophysiology suite, and 2 cardiac operating rooms, one of which will be a hybrid suite with a dedicated cardiac preoperative and post-operative care unit.
- Medical City Dallas the only hospital in North Texas with both a full-service children's hospital and obstetric hospital within the same facility.
- The congenital heart surgical program is comprised of two congenital heart surgeons with neonates/infants comprising 70-80% of surgical volume.
- Medical City Children’s Cardiology services are currently provided by 15 physicians including 3 interventional cardiologists, 1 electrophysiologist, and 3 advanced imaging physicians who perform fetal echocardiography, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT.
- Additionally, there are 9 outreach pediatric cardiologists who provide outpatient cardiology services and perform fetal echocardiograms with Heart Center for Children and Pediatric Cardiology of North Texas who are part of the Heart Center. The cardiac ICU is staffed by 7 trained cardiac intensivists and 9 advanced practice providers.
