HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Medical Director for an opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, FL.Qualified Candidates:
- Board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine required
- History of successful leadership experience with similar volume and acuity
- Permanent position

Facility Information:
- 44 bed ED with fast track
- 8 hours pediatric ER coverage daily
- Critical care sub-specialty support
- 55,000 annual patient visits
- Affiliated Freestanding EDs: Destin ER & Navarre ER
- 309 bed HCA level 2 trauma facility
- Medical ICU- 33 beds (plus an additional 8 CVICU beds)
- Stealth navigation system with O arm and Mazor spine robot
- Certified primary stroke center
- Currently hosting 3rd and 4th year D.O. students from Auburn’s VCOM (D.O.) School
- Internal medicine residency program
- Transitional residency program to start 2025
- Named among the top 10% in the nation by Healthgrades for cardiac surgery, joint replacement, and patient safety
