OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A WELL-ESTABLISHED PEDIATRIC HOSPITALIST PRACTICE



Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a full time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our practice at The Children’s Medical Center at Summerlin Hospital in Summerlin, NV.

  • 34-bed pediatric floor covered by the 5-physician team of Pediatric Hospitalists
  • Pediatric floor average daily census of 24
  • 12-bed PICU covered by our affiliated practice of Pediatric Intensivists
  • NICU and newborn nursery is managed by our affiliated neonatology practice
  • Rounding in hospital with call from home
  • Full-fledged children's hospital with well represented sub-specialties and a dedicated Pediatric ED
  • Academic affiliation with a pediatric residency program with opportunities to mentor, teach and train pediatric residents and medical students
  • Robust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical research, if desired
  • Current or recent in-patient hospital experience is required

BC/BE Pediatrician - must have current or recent hospital in-patient experience.
