Locums OBGYN Physician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Locums OBGYN Physician to join our team in Steamboat Springs, CO. This position offers a mix of clinic and call coverage, providing a rewarding opportunity to work in a community-focused hospital setting with a balance of obstetrical and gynecological care. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, performing deliveries, and providing office gynecological care.  The physician will provide full-spectrum obstetric and gynecological care, including prenatal care, deliveries, and postpartum care. This includes managing both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies with a focus on quality care and patient education. The physician will perform C-sections and other OB procedures as needed and provide gynecological services, including well-woman exams, contraception management, and office GYN care. In addition, the provider will participate in an on-call rotation, with both weekday and weekend coverage.

The hospital schedule is Monday to Friday, with a varying start time. The clinic operates from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. The provider will work 4 clinic days per week, with approximately 8 days of call per month. The on-call schedule will include a 1 in 4 rotation, and response time to calls is expected within 20 minutes.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABMS/AOA).
• Active Colorado medical license or IMLC eligibility.
• Experience with low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, including C-sections and gynecological care.
