Job Description

TeamHealth is hiring a full-time (Monday through Friday) primary care physician to do rounding in skilled nursing facilities in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania, area. Key Responsibilities:  
  • Perform primary care in a post-acute setting for short term and long-term patients
  • Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
  • Order and interpret lab results
  • Prescribe and monitor medications
  • Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare practitioners
  • Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related conditions
  • Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
  • Promote healthy lifestyle changes

Requirements:
  • 1+ years primary care experience required
  • Direct post-acute care experience a plus, but not required
  • Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania license 
  • Active and unrestricted Pennsylvania DEA with prescriptive authority

Estimated compensation range of $210,529 to $271,529 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
