Southern Minnesota Gastroenterology position in a Private Multi-Specialty group with a very low turnover rate amongst their physicians. This outpatient practice is at our Main Street Clinic and is open from 8a to 5p Monday through Friday. Our physicians work 32 patient contact hours per week with the option to work a 4-day work week. The additional Gastroenterologist will join two others: an adult GI and a double boarded pediatric/adult GI. This practice is for a General GI.

Advanced procedures are referred out..  A typical day would be doing a day of scopes in the morning, doing 8+ procedures averaging 30 minutes each. Afternoons are office visits seeing 10-12 patients..  Physicians are offered the flexibility to set up their clinic practice schedule times for initial consults and follow-up visits..   Each physician has two exam rooms, and diagnostic imaging and lab are conveniently located in the same building. EMR system is Altera-Touchworks..   Alterra touchworks EMR.  Work / life balance is an important part of physician's culture at the clinic. .  Annual physician turnover averages 4%, well below industry norms..  35 vacation days annually plus 7 paid holidays off.  Generous health benefits plan, $6,600 CME allowance annually and profit-sharing 401(k).
