**Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician - Tacoma, Washington** **Coverage Need** - Assignment Dates: Ongoing - Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM - Call: Overnight for clinic patients only (2nd call/backup, 30-minute response time) **Position Details** - Practice Setting: Outpatient/Inpatient - Patient Volume: Average daily census of 5 - Case Mix: 60% Oncology, 40% Hematology - Focus: Solid tumor cases; possible lymphoma; no leukemia or bone marrow transplant (BMT) - Rounding: Assigned patients only - EMR System: Epic/Beacon (all chemotherapy ordered through treatment plans) - Trauma Level: 2 **Submission Requirements** - Board Certification or Eligibility: Required - Active WA License or IMLC Eligibility: Required - ABLS, ACLS, and BLS: Required - Clean malpractice and background history **Skill Requirements** - Strong background in hematology and oncology - Experience with solid tumor and lymphoma management - Familiarity with Epic/Beacon is a plus - Ability to supervise Advanced Practice Providers
