**Locums Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery - Hershey, PA**
**Assignment Dates**
- February 1, 2025 September 30, 2025
**Coverage Need**
- Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
**Position Details**
- Practice Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient
- Trauma Level: Level 1
- Call Type: Beeper (Assigned Patients)
- Call Ratio: 1:6
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Patients Per Shift: 34
- Weekend and night call from home:
- Weekday call: 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Weekend call: Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 6:30 AM
- Shift Hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (in-house)
- Call Back Percentage: 20%
- EMR System: Cerner
**Submissions Requirements**
- Must confirm EVH and OR first-assist experience
- Indicate full availability for the assignment dates
**Skill Requirements**
- OR first assist for cardiac surgery procedures
- Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)
- Assist with ICU and floor patient management as needed
**Requirements**
- Active Pennsylvania license required (IMLC not accepted)
- Board Certification or Eligibility required
- Clean background
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
