Job Summary:
Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist to join Southern HillsHospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Qualified Candidates:
- Must be board certified/board eligible in Critical Care
- 15 (12-hour) shifts per month, block scheduling
- Staffing model: 1 MD and 1 APP during the day, 1 APP at night with MD on call for backup
- Day Shift with call from home at night
- 22 Bed ICU- Average Daily Census 16-22
- Clinical teaching responsibilities to support GME Program
- Interest and experience with Neuro Patient population preferred, not required

- The success of the ICC intensivist program relies on strong team building strategies within the ICU, the hardwiring of best practice evidence base protocols and streamlining the delivery of hospital wide critical care services.

- Located in the southwest and consistently rated for the high patient and physician satisfaction, the 265-bed facility is an Accredited Chest Pain Center, Certified Primary Stroke Center, and is certified by The Joint Commission for three orthopedic certifications including; Hip and Knee Replacement Program and Hip Fracture Program.
- Full-service ER Department including a separate 24/7 Free-Standing ER facility, ER at The Lakes
- Surgical services department offering robotic and minimally invasive procedures for orthopedics and spine, general surgery, gynecology, and gastroenterology
- Comprehensive orthopedic services including a specialized unit for inpatient care
- Behavioral health services including an 80-bed facility, The Pavilion offering inpatient and outpatient services
- Women’s Services including high-risk OB and a newly remodeled unit.
- Full-service oncology unit with chemo certified nurse
