Hospitalist Job In Clear Lake, Iowa
CRNA / Nurse Anesthetist
- CRNA coverage needed starting January 2025
- OR M-Th 10 hour days, Fri: 5p – Sat 6:30am, Sat: Off, Sun: 6:30am-6:30am, Mon: Off, Tues – Fri – 10 hour days
- Otherwise: Sat 6:30a – 6:30a Or Fri 5p – 6:30 am/Sun 6:30 – 6:30
- Starting as soon as credentialed
- Cerner & paper charting
- Level II
- All ages, but very sick pediatrics are usually shipped to another facility as their hospital is not equipped to handle these patients.
- Is this independent CRNA practice? If not - can the CRNAs do regional? It is a mix of physicians and CRNAs. Once the physicians are satisfied with the performance of the CRNA, the CRNA works fairly independently with the physician there as a resource.
- Case Mix: The hospital is a Level 2-Level 3 Trauma Center. Really sick patients are stabilized then referred out. We do hearts, spines, general surgery, occasional head, OB, etc. CRNAs must be comfortable with epidurals.
- Requirements: NBCRNA, BLS, ACLS, Active IA License
- Credentialing timeframe: ~30-45 days
