Job Summary:

Intensive Care Consortium (ICC) Healthcare is seeking a Critical Care Intensivist Medical Director to join HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Qualified Candidates:

• Must be critical care board eligible or board certified
• Florida licensure or ability to obtain
• Leadership Experience Required
• Ability to work Full Time, 15 shifts per month, Mix of Clinical shifts and dedicated Administrative Time
• 12-hour shifts covering a 30-bed medical/surgical ICU and 12-bed CV ICU with mandatory Intensivist consults
• Day & Night shifts (rotated): 1 MD & 1 APP (7am to 7pm); 1 MD & 1 APP (7 pm to 7 am)
• Busy program with high acuity patient population.  ECMO experience preferred.
• Supervise all full or part time Intensivists and Advanced Practice Providers
• Lead quality improvement initiatives
• Develop collaborative relationships with primary and consulting physicians, facility leadership, and clinical staff
• Develop, implement, and oversee ICC standards and protocols
• Provide peer support to the Intensivist team members to establish and achieve program initiatives and goals
• Participate in teaching responsibilities with ACGME-Accredited Residency and Fellowship programs
