Role Overview
  • Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
  • 15 to 18 patients per day
  • Flexible schedule Monday through Friday
  • Part-time and full-time schedule options rounding 2-4 days/week
  • Post-acute care inpatient setting  
Job Duties 
  • Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
  • Collaborate with clinicians, facility leaders and others regarding care and services
  • Build relationships with your patients, patients' family members, and facility staff to facilitate effective treatment delivery
  • Medical director duties for assigned facilities
  • Provide oversight, guidance, and mentorship to our clinicians
  • Conduct clinical case reviews, as needed and share tools, information, and guidelines as they relate to quality of care
  • Represent TeamHealth in establishing/maintaining relationships within the post-acute care community
  • Collaborate with leadership to review care coordination initiatives, develop individualized care plans, and share ideas about facility metrics

Qualifications
  • Post-acute care experience a plus, but not required
  • Leadership background a plus, but not required; training will be provided
  • Active and unrestricted New Mexico license
  • Active and unrestricted New Mexico DEA

Our compensation is fee for service (FFS). Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $296,000 to $360,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
