**Urgent Care/Emergency Medicine Physician opening in CT**
**Located in Fairfield, 62m to Hartford**
**Full Time Position**
Group HealthCare, the fastest growing health care system in the region, it pleased to offer an opportunity for a BC/BE Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to practice world class medical care in our Urgent Care centers, located in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
**Some highlights of this opportunity include:**
-Generous compensation package including: Competitive base salary with wRVU productivity incentive ranging from $270,000-$400,000, CME reimbursement, 4-6 weeks of Paid Time Off, professional license reimbursement, and more

-Recently updated/new state-of-the-art urgent care facilities, designed to improve workflow and contribute to enhanced working conditions. Featuring top of line digital radiology, on site POC laboratory services, with modern, clean, and aesthetically designed patient care rooms and centrally located work environments with excellent sight lines of the entire treatment area.
-Highly trained staff including on site XRTs, physician assistants, medical assistants, nurses, and administrative support.
-EPIC electronic health record utilized, enabling a fully integrated and interconnected access to patients medical health record.
-Radiology films immediately available for viewing/reading on site by treating provider. Radiology over-reads by BC radiologist within 30 min.
-Referral management and full specialty backup available through the HHCMG network.
-Advanced imaging available on a routine and STAT basis, including CT & US.
-12 hour shifts. Rotating shifts
-Supportive and collaborative physician group, looking to expand and grow!
**Qualifications**
Job Requirements:
-MD/DO Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited College of Medicine
-Successful completion of an ACGME accredited medical residency program
-BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
-Current CT State Medical License, DEA
-BLS, ACLS, CPR certifications (FP candidates)
-At least 2 years post residency preferred
-Previous UC experience preferred
-Must be comfortable with the following:
-Pediatrics, adolescents, adults, elderly
-Laceration repair, I&Ds, burn care, wound care
-Xray interpretation, splinting, minor fracture care
-GYN, STD testing
-EKG interpretation
-Occupational medicine
-Workers compensation
-Vaccine administration
