Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking an experienced Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team in Bethel Park, PA for an ongoing locum tenens assignment  The CRNA will work closely with a collaborative team to ensure safe anesthesia administration during a range of surgical procedures.

As a CRNA you will be responsible for providing anesthesia for a variety of cases, primarily in sports orthopedics, hand surgery, and plastics, including infrequent pediatric cases (8 years and older). You will administer anesthesia during a range of procedures such as arthroscopies, shoulder tendon transfers, tendon/biceps repairs, ganglion excisions, trigger finger releases, knee arthroscopies, carpal tunnel releases, and ORIF elbow surgeries. Frequent sedation cases and surgical-level nerve blocks will also be part of your duties. You will work closely with the surgical team to ensure safe anesthesia management throughout each procedure, providing both preoperative assessments and intraoperative monitoring. Post-anesthesia recovery and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system are also essential components of this role. Your expertise will ensure a smooth workflow and high levels of patient safety and satisfaction during every surgical intervention.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Board Certified NBCRNA (National Board Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist).
• Current Pennsylvania State RN and CRNA Licenses.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
