Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA. This position offers a flexible schedule with a minimum commitment of three shifts per week. Candidates must be willing to work 10- or 12-hour shifts, starting at 6:30 AM.
The CRNA will provide comprehensive anesthesia services across a diverse and complex case mix in a high-acuity environment. Responsibilities include pre-operative assessment, anesthesia administration, and post-operative care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.    The CRNA will handle a wide range of cases, including cardiac procedures, EP Lab cases, and TAVR and Watchman procedures. Other case types include pediatric care, complex neuro and thoracic surgeries, and complex ENT cases. The provider will also work on robotic-assisted surgeries, major vascular procedures, general surgery, colorectal cases, and interventional radiology (IR), CT, and bronchoscopies. Additional responsibilities include anesthesia for gynecology, urology, plastics, orthopedics, and gastrointestinal (GI) procedures. This diverse case mix ensures exposure to various subspecialties and opportunities to practice in a high-acuity environment.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Board Certified by the NBCRNA
• Pennsylvania State Licensure (active or eligible)
• BLS Certification
