**Locums Cardiothoracic Surgeon - Boise, ID**
**Coverage Need**
- Assignment Dates: January 30, 2025 - Ongoing
- Coverage Type: On-call for weekends and occasional PTO coverage
- Schedule: 7am - 7am
- EMR: Epic
**Rate**
- Call Daily - Cap of $3000/24 hours (includes 3 hours gratis)
- Call Back - Cap of $350/hour after gratis hours
- Holiday rates: 1.5x
**Position Details**
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
- Number of ORs: 1 dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery OR
- Support Staff: 4 available PAs rotating to support surgeon in OR
- Required Procedures:
- Adult cardiac surgery
- General thoracic surgery
- Aortic dissection
- CABG
- Tube thoracostomy
- Pericardial window
- Thoracotomy, lung resections, and pneumonectomy
- Heart valve repair/replacement surgery
- Aortic dissection VA + VV ECMO placement
**Submission Requirements**
- Successful completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency and CT fellowship program
- Board Certified
- Active ID license or IMLC
- ACLS and DEA required
- Clean background/no malpractice
