Job Description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to provide 24/7 GI call coverage across three hospitals in Pennsylvania. This opportunity requires a minimum availability of 7 days per month with 14 shifts per month available.
Job Details- Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7:30 AM - 7:30 AM), with on-site duties during the day and night call coverage (30-minute response time).
- Typical Caseload:
- Adult: 95% | Pediatrics: 5%
- Procedures: Colonoscopies, EGDs, PEGs, Esophageal Varices & Stenting, and ERCPs.
- Average Admissions while on call: 7
- EMR System: EPIC
- Board Status: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Licensure: Pennsylvania license preferred; candidates needing licensure will be considered.
- Certifications: BLS, DEA.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years required.
