**Locums Obstetrician/Gynecologist - Omaha, NE & Council Bluffs, IA** **Coverage Details** - Start Date: January 27, 2025 - End Date: Ongoing - Coverage Type: Call Coverage - Shift Schedule: Two weekends per month, Friday 8:00 AM Monday 8:00 AM - Call Type: 24-hour Call Coverage (includes 8 hours gratis) - Call Response Time: Standby for labor or near facilities for recommendations on labor progression **Practice Setting** - Labor & Delivery (LD), Postpartum (PP), Gynecology Emergency/ORs - Duties: - Covering Ob-Gyn call for three facilities - Providing consults, deliveries, rounding (including with fellows) - Performing minor and major gynecologic surgeries - Backing up Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and Family Medicine w/ OB providers - EMR System: EPIC **Skills & Procedures** - Must be comfortable with all OB/Gyn procedures - Must have performed 20+ deliveries in the last year **Duties** - Covering a practice as well as unassigned Ob-Gyn call - Supporting CNMs and making labor progression recommendations **Requirements** - Board Certification: ABOG - Required - Residency: Ob-Gyn Residency - Required - Licenses: IA and NE highly preferred (IMLC accepted; please note at time of submission) **Support Staff** - LD and OR Nursing - Works alongside CNMs **Additional Details** - Reason for Coverage: Call relief for a practice of 6 MDs (4.24 FTEs) - Days per Month: Average 6 - Admissions: Varies based on the day - Credentialing Timeframe: Usually 3 weeks - Nearest Airport: Omaha Eppley Airport (OMA) - Lodging Recommendations: Downtown Omaha hotels preferred (central to facilities and near the airport) **Rate Details** - 24-Hour Call: $2,40000 (includes 8 hours gratis) - 24-Hour Holiday Call: $3,800 (includes 8 hours gratis) - Call Back: $300/hour (patient contact hours after gratis hours) - Holiday Call Back: $450/hour (holiday patient contact hours after gratis hours) - Orientation Rate: $150/hour (kicks in after 8 hours)
