Job Summary:
Seeking a Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist to join Mission Health and its busy, established and growing practice, Head and Neck Specialists of Western North Carolina, right here in Asheville.About Position:
- Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Program offering comprehensive services in the Western North Carolina market
- Role requires fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction
- Outpatient clinic is located on hospital campus for centralization of services
- Incoming Head and Neck Surgeon will join an existing team of two and help continue to grow a world class comprehensive Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Program
- Multidisciplinary Program consisting of Head and Neck Surgeons, APPs, medical / radiation oncologists, speech pathology, nutrition, rehabilitation, and care coordinators
- Head and Neck Surgical Oncology practice call coverage shared amongst providers in the group
- New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
- Interest / experience in trauma coverage is required
- Board eligible / board certified is required
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Mission Hospital, licensed for 815 beds, is the flagship hospital of Mission Health, an operating division of HCA Healthcare and the state’s sixth largest health system.
- Serves as the regional referral center for tertiary and quaternary care in western North Carolina and the adjoining region

- Our inpatient neurology program is comprised of a 14-bed neuro-trauma ICU and a 36-bed, dedicated neuroscience unit and stroke center
