**Locums Anesthesiology - Cape Girardeau, MO** **Coverage Details** - Start Date: March 10, 2025 - End Date: Ongoing - Coverage Type: No Call - Shift Schedule: - Monday through Friday - 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 4 days/week, or 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 5 days/week - 40 hours per week, with potential but unlikely overtime **Practice Setting** - Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient - Patients Per Shift: 5-15 - Admissions: Not required - EMR System: Epic **Skills & Procedures** - General Anesthesia (Adult): Required - Regional Anesthesia: Required - Neurosurgical Cases (Spine): Required - Complex Orthopedic Cases: Required - Central Line Placement: Required - Arterial Line Placement: Required - CRNA Supervision: Required (4:1 ratio) **Duties** - Perform anesthetic management for a variety of surgical cases - Medically direct CRNAs (4:1 supervision ratio) - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team **Requirements** - Board Certification: Yes, or Board Eligible - Certifications: ACLS, BLS (ABLS, ATLS, PALS not required) - License: Active MO License required **Support Staff** - 12-15 CRNAs - 3-4 MDAs **Additional Details** - Temporary Privileges: Yes - Credentialing Timeframe: 30-90 days - Estimated Acuity: ASA 1-4E (mostly ASA 2 and 3) - Facilities: 10 ORs, 2 GI Labs, 3 Cath Labs, 2 L&D Surgical Suites, IR/MRI/CT; typically 14 sites running daily, including ancillary settings **Additional Notes** - Minimum Commitment: 3 months
