**Locums Gastroenterologist - Marshfield, WI** **Assignment Dates** - Start: March 17, 2025 - End: Ongoing **Coverage Need** - Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call **Position Details** - Practice Settings: Inpatient, Outpatient - Patients Per Shift: 13-14 outpatient procedures daily - Beds in Department: TBD - Trauma Level: II - EMR System: Cerner - Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days - Call Type: Beeper (1:3 ratio, 15-minute response time) - Call Details: Weeknight call (1-2 nights per week); occasional weekend coverage possible **Schedule** - Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - 1-2 weeks of locum coverage per month **Skill Requirements** - **Upper GI Endoscopy**: Required (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices) - **Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry**: Required (including manometry interpretation) - **Small Bowel Biopsy**: Required - **Lower GI Endoscopy**: Required - Sigmoidoscopy: Preferred (Flexible and Rigid) - Colonoscopy: Required (with biopsy, excision of polyp) - Conscious sedation: Required (no Anesthesia support in GI unit) **Requirements** - Active Wisconsin state license or IMLC: Required - Board Certification or Eligibility: Required - Certifications: ACLS, BLS **Additional Details** - Support Staff: 3 RNs, 4 MAs, 8 PA/NPs, 6 office staff, GI techs
