Pharmacist
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team in Othello, Washington. This position involves traveling to various clinic sites to provide comprehensive pharmacy services to patients across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have advanced communication skills, thorough knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, and a strong commitment to patient care, particularly in underserved communities.
Responsibilities:
- Travel regularly to multiple clinic sites to serve patients and provide pharmacy services.
- Ensure the safe and appropriate use of company vehicles while traveling.
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in compliance with Washington State and Federal laws.
- Provide patient education regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of prescriptions, inventory, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed of developments in pharmacy practice, laws, and technologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Support and oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and efficiency in daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in communication (written and verbal), business practices, mathematics, and computer use, typically acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Thorough knowledge of Washington State and Federal pharmacy laws.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure compliance with regulations and optimize patient care.
- Valid Washington State Pharmacist License with no restrictions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurance liability standards for driving company vehicles.
