**Gastroenterologist opportunities in Saginaw, MI** - Located Flint 40m; Midland 63m **Position Details:** - Seeking a highly motivated, confident, and energetic full time Gastroenterologist to join our team. - Full-Time; Day shift - Monday-Thursday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (Call 1:4) - This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a well established gastroenterology group. - Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology, open to new fellows. - General/ Traditional Outpatient & Inpatient GI - Full spectrum general adult gastroenterology (18 & older) - Excellent opportunity to be busy right away (established patient volume exists) - Strong primary care referral base - APP support - EUS available - Office located 10 minutes from hospital - Ambulatory Outpatient Care Center available 5 days per week for procedures - Ambulatory Outpatient Procedures also available at Hospital weekly - ERCP training is ideal, not required - Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. - Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. - Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital. - Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested. - Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner. - Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules. **Requirements:** - Certifications and Licensures - Board Certified or Eligible - Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply - Required Education - Successful completion of an ACGME approved Residency **Compensation:** - Base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation plan.
