**Position Details:**
- Seeking a Spine Neurologist
- Full-Time; M-F, night and weekend coverage

- This position provides an opportunity to expand depth and breadth of spine services.
- Surgical volume consists of routine and complex spine cases.
- The newly recruited neurosurgeon will participate in general neurosurgery and trauma call.
- Call is on average 1:4.
- Additional responsibilities will include clinical care, teaching, and research activities.
- Complex, reconstructive and routine spine cases
- Neuro/Trauma call is required
- Travel to off-site neuro clinic as needed
- Clinical research trials
- Academic faculty appointment available
- The regions only certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Dedicated neuro-intensive care unit and neuro-progressive care units staffed with Certified Neuro Registered Nurses.
- Dedicated and specially trained neurosurgeons, neurologists and neurointerventionalists.
- Dedicated neurosurgery operating rooms.

**Requirements:**
- Certifications and Licensures
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply
- Required Education
- Successful completion of an ACGME approved Residency
