Neurology Physician opening in Shawnee, KS
- Shawnee, KS located just 12m from Kansas City
- Full-time, permanent position
- Inpatient & Outpatient mix
About the role:
Located in suburban Kansas City, Facility is searching for a highly skilled and patient-focused neurologist to add to its busy existing group. Our physicians provide a full range of neurology care specializing in neurologic consultations, electromyography, and Botox for chronic migraine management. The position is an in/outpatient opportunity.
- 1 in 6 call rotation
- Call weeks are inpatient only with no obligation to do outpatient clinic those weeks
- 24hr call (inpatient and cover outpatient clinic call at night)
- EMR Epic
- 10-15 daily inpatients
- Average of 1-2 evening calls a week that includes outpatient clinic evening call
Candidates must be well-trained, BC/BE, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Fellowship trained physicians are highly encouraged to apply as we are looking to grow subspecialty services within our neurosciences. Experience with movement disorders and headache management are a plus. The ability to read EEGs is required. Respect for patients, co-workers and staff is of the utmost priority, and we place a considerable focus on providing exceptional experience for our patients.
