Seeking PA to join team in Watertown, NY
Overview:
- Team of pediatricians provides comprehensive care for children from birth to adulthood in a friendly and welcoming environment
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant
- The Physician Assistant will work in collaboration with our pediatricians to provide medical care for children
- Their day-to-day tasks will include performing physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, prescribing medications, and providing counseling on healthy lifestyle choices
- The Physician Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical records and communicating with other healthcare providers regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Excellent medical knowledge and clinical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with physicians
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both patients and colleagues
- Ability to think critically and make decisions independently
- Current NY state Physician Assistant License
- Current BLS Certification
- Prior experience working in a pediatric setting is a plus
- Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
