**Psychiatry opening in Bridgeport, CT**
- Located in Bridgeport, CT
- Part-time, 1 day per week
- Experience preferred
**Position details:**
- Currently recruiting to add a full- or part-time Psychiatrist to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide Psychiatric Care including evaluations and medication management for a diverse adult population.
- The Psychiatrist should be comfortable working in a community health center with a multicultural, multilingual patient population.
- The administrative component includes supervision of other psychiatric prescribers, mentoring of students and/or APRNS, and signing treatment plans.
- Interview, assess, diagnose, and treat patients appropriately within the standard of care
- Prescribe psycho-therapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional or behavioral disorders
- Collaborate with other Behavioral Health Professionals to discuss treatment plans & patient progress
- Provide individual professional consultation among Professional Staff for the purposes of inservice/education as necessary to provide increased level of service to patients
- Multispecialty Integrated Care Practice
- 100% Outpatient Setting

**Qualifications:**
- MD/DO from an accredited Medical School
- Completion of Residency Program specializing in Psychiatry Board Certified or eligible to sit for Board CT Licensure
- Working knowledge of Spanish helpful
