Job Description

Are you a physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) who aims to make a difference in the lives of your patients? If so, TeamHealth is seeking a part-time advanced practice clinician (APC) to join our reputable urgent care team at our new After Hours Pediatrics Urgent Care in Tampa, Florida! In this role, you should be willing to travel and work at all 5 clinics throughout Tampa.

If you have a minimum of 2 years of pediatric (peds) practice experience as an advanced practice clinician in an urgent care or emergency medicine (EM) setting and be able to work as a solo provider. The ideal candidate must be comfortable caring for newborns to 22 years of age and be proficient in reading x-rays, suturing, splinting, minor trauma assessment and management, minor orthopedics, wound care/closures and incision/drainage of abscesses.

About TeamHealth After Hours Pediatrics - North Tampa

After Hours Pediatrics Urgent Care currently offers seven convenient locations in Tampa and South Florida, and each is staffed by a team of board certified pediatricians. Founded in 1997, our practice is dedicated to supporting families and their physicians by delivering immediate medical attention to children, from newborns to 21 years of age, at times when their primary care doctor's office is closed. We support the doctor-patient relationship by ensuring patients' primary physicians are provided with same-day reports faxed directly to their offices to ensure continuity of care. Each of our locations features on-site laboratory and x-ray services. Offices are open 5pm to 11pm on weekdays and 1pm to 11pm on weekends.
