**Position Details**
- Full-time (1.0 FTE, ~144 hours/month) Pediatric Hospitalist position
- Provide care for hospitalized pediatric patients aged 0-18 years, including well newborns, special care nursery patients (hypoglycemia, mild respiratory distress/hypoxia, intensive phototherapy, infection rule-out), and pediatric floor admissions
- Manage typical pediatric admissions such as asthma exacerbation, bronchiolitis, pneumonia, cellulitis/abscess, jaundice, dehydration, and infection rule-out in infants
- Attend deliveries and occasional consultations in the Emergency Department
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocol development, professional development, and scholarly activities
- Collaborative team with Advanced Practice Providers, providing in-house coverage 24/7
- Shift Schedule: Day shifts (8-12 hours), Night shifts (12 hours); no outpatient responsibilities

**Position Requirements**
- Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Pediatrics
- Interest in teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows
- Unrestricted Michigan Medical License (MD/DO) and DEA
