**Locums Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology - Marquette, MI** **Coverage Need** - Assignment dates: - 3/10/2025 (7 AM) - 3/17/2025 (7 AM) - 3/28/2025 (7 AM) - 4/1/2025 (7 AM) - 6/3/2025 (7 AM) - 6/6/2025 (7 AM) - 7/4/2025 (7 AM) - 7/7/2025 (7 AM) - 8/22/2025 (7 AM) - 8/25/2025 (7 AM) **Position Details** - Schedule: - Monday-Friday: 9-hour shifts with a 1-hour lunch (8 billable hours) and 15-hour overnight call - Weekend: 24-hour call - Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call - Call details: - Beeper call with 20-minute response time - Phone consults: 2-4 per day - Patient volume: Up to 12 per day (procedures and inpatient) - Procedures: EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J tube placement - Equipment: Olympus, Paragon & EndoPro EMR, Hydrogen breath testing, Capsule endoscopy, Propofol - Requirements: Full block coverage partial availability will not be considered **Submissions Requirements** - Active MI license - DEA required - Board certification required - Clean history - ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS **Skill Requirements** - Proficiency in: - ERCP/EUS (preferred) - Upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy (including biopsy and polyp excision) - Small bowel biopsy - Esophageal dilatation/manometry - Liver biopsy - PEG tube placement - No scribe support; providers must manage all charting, pathology reviews, and communications independently **Additional Information** - Four procedure rooms/Endo Suites with a highly accomplished Endo Unit team - Average 12 patients per day - Credentialing timeframe: 60 days
