**Hospitalist opening - Brainerd, MN** **Position Details** - Full-time, permanent - Flexibility to split with outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine if desired - Pay incentive for extra shifts - Full-time equivalent = 24 weeks/year - Well-established Hospitalist program and Top 100 Rural Hospital in America - 162-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center - Schedule: 7 on 7 off, 12 hour shifts. - Hospitalists will cover Med/Surg & ICU, including ventilator co-management with intensivist, RT, and remote support from Duluth - Current team is 10 physicians and 2 NPs - Opportunity to teach and precept medical and PA students, and for future program leadership - 13-16 patients per day, per hospitalist (rounding and admitting) - Average inpatient practice volume per day: Med Surg-50 / ICU-10.
