**Orthopedic Surgery opportunity: Pine Bluff, AR** ~ 44 miles from Little Rock ~ Service area of 11 counties and 220,000+ people ~ Academic Affiliate **Position Details:** - Full-time - Permanent opening - Hospital-employed position - Seeking an additional Surgeon due to community demand - Currently 3 Orthopedic Surgeons and 1 Orthopedic Spine Surgeon - Group's areas of expertise: Arthroscopy, Joint Replacements, Sports Medicine, Trauma and Fractures, Shoulder & Elbows, Foot & Ankle (Bunions), and Hands (carpel tunnel, trigger finger, finger fusions) - See 15 - 20 patients per day - Call: 1:5 - EMR: Allscripts - Academic affiliation: On-campus FP residency program through UAMS in Little Rock, AR with approximately 30-32 residents - No robotics - 19 surgery suites - 24 bed Ortho/Urology Unit - 27 bed IP rehab unit - 13 surgical rooms in the OR - 4 OR and 2 cysto at outpatient surgery center - 180-220 IP census **Compensation** - Competitive Base Salary with Bonus Potential (Based off of MGMA) - Sign-On Bonus - Loan Repayment - PTO/CME - Stipend during residency - Relocation Assistance **Community:** - Service area: 11 county area of Southeast Arkansas, approximately 220,000 people - Population of Pine Bluff: 50,000 - Hospital is located 40 miles south of Little Rock, state capital.
