Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of emergency medicine physicians and advanced practice clinicians
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the emergency department, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient workflow
- Collaborate with hospital administration, nursing, and other medical departments to improve patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction
- Participate in the development and implementation of protocols, clinical guidelines, and policies to enhance patient care
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development among staff
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment for all team members
- Take an active role in recruitment, retention, and staff development initiatives
Qualifications:
- Board-certified in emergency medicine
- Experience in an EM leadership role
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management, conflict resolution, and mentoring
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, safety, and quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
