Medical Director needed for Skilled Nursing Division in the northern Charlotte, NC area

Great opportunity for a FP or IM physician to live in the Charlotte, NC area and work for a Hospitalist company. This opportunity will focus on 2 Skilled Nursing Facilities flanking the north side of Charlotte. 

• Board Certified or Eligible Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician
• Role is to be Medical Director for 2 SNF's
• Mon-Fri - must be in the facilities - can choose what days to go to either facility - 5 min from each other
• "Round and Go" model
• Hours are flexible to see patients plus admin time in afternoon
• Enjoy autonomy while you care for high acuity patients in need of medically complex care
• On call till 5p daily but via phone only and very rare
• Will oversee a Nurse Practitioner on staff
• Quality meetings and minimal admin duties required to fulfill Medical Director part
• 12 patients daily - census of 48-90 typically
• 2/3 days per week in each facility - all within 45 min north of Charlotte
• 2+ yrs exp in Skilled Nursing and/or Hospitalist Med
• No procedures required
