Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum tenens coverage in Kewanee, IL. This part-time position offers Monday through Friday shifts, providing flexibility and an excellent work-life balance.

As a CRNA in this role, you will deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to patients. Responsibilities include administering anesthesia, monitoring patient responses, and performing regional blocks as required. You will administer anesthesia to patients undergoing various surgical and medical procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. Your duties will include performing and managing regional blocks as necessary and closely monitoring patients during the perioperative period. In this role, you will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute anesthesia care plans, maintain accurate and detailed records, and comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
This part-time position offers Monday through Friday shifts with no weekend or on-call requirements, allowing for a consistent and manageable schedule.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Active Illinois state license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Proficiency in performing regional blocks is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
