Locums Anesthesia Physician

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Locums Anesthesia Physician to join our team in Panama City, FL. This opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with no weekend or on-call requirements, providing an excellent work-life balance in a beautiful coastal location.

The position involves a Monday through Friday schedule, working from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There are no weekend or on-call requirements, making this an ideal role for physicians seeking a predictable and structured work environment. The caseload includes a variety of cases such as general surgery, orthopedics, ortho-spine, OB/GYN, urology, podiatry, ENT, pediatrics, cath lab, endoscopy, and thoracic procedures. Notably, there are no cardiac or trauma cases. Physicians will medically direct 95% of cases, collaborating closely with a skilled anesthesia team. The facility uses the Medaxion EMR system.

 

Requirements:

 

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Active Florida medical license
