General Surgery Physician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Surgery Physician to join our team in Newburgh, NY. This role focuses on providing high-quality emergency general surgery in a Level III Trauma Center. With a flexible schedule and access to subspecialty support, this position offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collegial team of surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.  In this role, you will deliver comprehensive care to patients requiring emergency general surgery, ensuring optimal outcomes through prompt and effective treatment. You will collaborate closely with a collegial team of experienced surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) while leveraging subspecialty support to provide well-rounded, patient-centered care. This position offers a flexible schedule with approximately 10 shifts per month, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life. As a vital member of the surgical team, you will contribute to maintaining excellence in patient care and fostering a collaborative healthcare environment.

Compensation and Benefits

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Current or recent trauma experience within the last 12 months.
