Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Seeking a skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Evansville, IN. The position is Monday through Friday and involves providing anesthesia care across a diverse range of cases in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the chance to work with a dedicated team of medical professionals in a supportive and collaborative setting.

 

The CRNA will deliver anesthesia services for a variety of surgical cases, including laparoscopic general surgery, bariatric procedures, Whipple procedures, fundoplication, paraesophageal hernia repairs, robotic nephrectomy, prostatectomy, general urology, endovascular aortic aneurysm (Endo AA) repairs, open abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repairs, general vascular surgeries, craniotomies, stereotactic neurosurgery, back surgeries with instrumentation, and trauma-related orthopedic procedures. This role does not include obstetric anesthesia. The CRNA will ensure the safe delivery of anesthesia, perform pre- and post-operative evaluations, and monitor patients during procedures.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Board Certified or Board Eligible CRNA
• Indiana state license (candidates needing to obtain licensure will be considered)
• ACLS and BLS required
• Ability to confidently handle a wide range of complex surgical cases
