Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a part-time Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated team at a state-of-the-art Sleep Center in Somerset, MA. The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner and a passion for providing high-quality care. Prior experience in sleep or pulmonary medicine is preferred but not required, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

 

Position Highlights:

• Focus: Evaluation and management of sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs, narcolepsy, and parasomnias.
• Facilities: Advanced diagnostic services for adults and adolescents, including home sleep testing and in-lab studies.
• Therapies Offered: PAP modalities such as BiPAP and ASV (adaptive servo-ventilation).
• Schedule: No routine weekend or night call; providers are occasionally available by phone for rare patient or sleep tech questions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and manage a range of sleep disorders.
• Interpret diagnostic test results and develop personalized care plans.
• Provide ongoing follow-up in a chronic disease care model.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts.
• Valid Drug Enforcement Agency certificate and Massachusetts controlled substances registration.
• 1–5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Compassion, maturity, and excellent communication skills.
