Locums Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team on a locum tenens basis in Lisbon, ND. This is a 13-week assignment providing high-quality care in a clinic setting, focusing on family medicine visits. With no call or hospitalist duties required, this role offers a balanced schedule and the opportunity to deliver personalized patient care in a welcoming community.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or on-call requirements. In this role, you will provide comprehensive family medicine services to patients of all ages. The clinic sees approximately 6-15 patients per day, allowing for a manageable and focused workload. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, managing chronic conditions, and providing preventive care. Educating and counseling patients and families on treatment plans, lifestyle changes, and preventive healthcare is also a key aspect of the role. Additionally, you will collaborate with clinic staff to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes while maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active North Dakota medical license.
• Strong clinical skills and experience in family medicine preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
