Locums Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide locum tenens coverage in a primary care clinic located in Berlin, VT.  The role includes both clinical and administrative responsibilities, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
The schedule consists of Monday through Friday shifts. The provider will complete 8 clinical sessions per week (32 hours) and an additional 8 hours dedicated to administrative duties. Daily patient volume ranges from 16 to 18, focusing on evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients. Responsibilities include performing routine physical exams, managing chronic conditions, providing preventive care, and educating patients to promote wellness.

 

Requirements:

 

• Certifications: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), BLS, and DEA.
• Licensure: Active and unrestricted Vermont State License.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience in a primary care setting with a strong focus on patient-centered care.
