Locums Anesthesia Physician

We are seeking a part-time Locums Anesthesia Physician to join our team in Coudersport, PA. This position offers a 7-on/7-off schedule, with candidates required to have at least one week of availability per month, though two weeks are preferred. The role includes day shifts (7 AM - 4 PM) and night call shifts (4 PM - 7 AM), with 24-hour call shifts on weekends (7 AM - 7 AM Saturday and Sunday).  s a Locums Anesthesia Physician, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia services in the operating room during the day. You will perform regional blocks and ensure that patients are safely managed throughout their surgeries. During night call shifts, you will be available to respond promptly to any anesthesia-related emergencies, with a required 30-minute response time when on call. The provider will also assist with various surgical specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, and gastroenterology. In addition, you will work in 4 operating room suites, an endoscopy lab, and a minor procedure room. If surgeries are canceled or completed early, you will be expected to take call offsite.

 

Qualifications:

 

• DO, MD, or equivalent degree.
• DEA and PA state license required.
• ACLS certification.
• Experience with regional blocks is essential.
