Locums Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Columbus, OH. This position offers an exciting chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, providing critical care and trauma services as part of a collaborative healthcare team. 

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in trauma surgery and critical care, as this role is not suitable for new graduates. Responsibilities include assisting in trauma and surgical procedures, managing critical care patients, and working closely with the trauma surgery team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

This role requires proven experience in trauma surgery and critical care, with the ability to manage high-acuity patients in a team-oriented environment. Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety are essential.

 

Requirements:

 

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• FCCS (Fundamental Critical Care Support) – Highly preferred

• Active Ohio license
