As a Flight Nurse, you’ll be on the front lines of critical care, delivering rapid response and advanced medical support to those in urgent need. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert critical care to patients during air transport, ensuring safety and clinical excellence.
- Collaborate effectively with flight teams, patients, and external healthcare providers.
- Maintain compliance with company protocols, safety regulations, and medical standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to uphold the highest care standards.
- Schedule: Rotational shifts based on operational needs.
Requirements:
- Active RN license to practice in Arizona.
- Minimum of 3 years of critical care/emergency experience (5 years preferred).
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and one of the following: TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS (NRP and instructor certifications preferred).
- CFRN certification within 24 months of hire.
- Flight or transport experience preferred.
- Successful completion of the Medical Group education/orientation program.
- Effective interpersonal skills to work with team members, patients, and external customers.
- Weight limit: Must maintain body weight below 235 lbs per flight policy.
- Basic computer skills for electronic charting and communication.
- Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam, functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, including lifting up to 100 pounds), and drug screening.
