Emergency Medicine PA Needed for Night Coverage

Job Overview:
We are seeking Physician Assistants to provide high-quality emergency care. This part-time position requires covering primarily night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) for 5-6 shifts per month, with occasional day and evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Treat a wide variety of emergency department patients, focusing on lower acuity cases.
• Perform minor procedures such as incision and drainage (I&D) and laceration repairs.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as reviewing radiology and lab results when needed.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, who are available on-site 24/7.
• Maintain required certifications and stay current with NIHSS and stroke-related continuing medical education (CME).

Required Qualifications:

• Certification: PA Board Certified
• Licensure: Active Pennsylvania State License
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in an Emergency Department setting
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (through AHA or Red Cross), Stroke Certification
• Other Requirements:
